PTC-Tarlac Joins The Nation In Celebration Of Women’s Month
PTC-Tarlac, headed by Officer-in-Charge Engr. Alvin Castro, joins the nation in celebration of Women’s Month in the Philippines.
Simultaneous activities were provided, such as free hair cutting, basic training for massage and hilot, and Zumba sessions given to women deprived of liberty at the Tarlac City Jail, Barangay Baras-baras, Tarlac City, on March 10, 2023.
The program was organized through the combined efforts of the TESDA PTC-Tarlac personnel; Atty. Rosalyn Mary Querida, President of the Rotary Club of Paniqui; Johnabell Pingol, President of the Rotary Club of Midtown of Tarlac; Ms. Jane Garcia; and Jail Inspector Jessica Corpuz.
Filipinos observe during the entire month of March women’s milestones to bring awareness against sexism, domestic violence, and other challenges that women face.
This event includes celebrating International Women’s Day, which emphasizes the role and importance of women in society, especially in modern times.
