Conduct of Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead assessors (CBP-PLA) in Commercial Air-conditioning Installation and Servicing NC III
One of TESDA’s programs to improve the quality of technical vocational education and training in the region is the Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors.
TESDA Region III through TESDA Tarlac conducts Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors in Commercial Air-conditioning Installation and Servicing NC III held at the Provincial Training Center-Tarlac on February 28, 2023.
The goal of the program is to train more assessors so that the quality of assessments across the country can be guaranteed. This program will give the people who take part the knowledge and skills they need to properly evaluate our trainees and to keep improving and strengthening the skills, knowledge, procedures, and tools needed.
Officer-in-charge Engr. Alvin Castro, warmly welcomed all the participants and emphasized the importance of the said activity in the continuous growth of learning and skills in line with air conditioning. He thanked the Regional CAC Focal, Ms. Rose Ann Zaldivar, and Ms. Rezzel Aquino, PO CAC Focal, for giving the importance of conducting the event in the center.
During the program, OIC-Provincial Director Leonardo R. Tabamo delivered his message to the participants: “Since then, we have wanted to continue to have something like this to further improve the field of refrigeration and air conditioning for everyone.” “Tomorrow you will be lead assessors, and TESDA expects you to do what is right in doing your duty as an assessor in that qualification,” he said.
This event aims to produce prospective competency assessors nominated from various provinces who will ensure the qualification’s standards are implemented. As the regional lead assessor, Engr. Andres F. Cabalu will facilitate this two-day in-person activity.
