Session of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines – Tarlac Chapter
TESDA Tarlac attended the session of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines- Tarlac Chapter held at the Cauayan Forest Camping, San Jose, Tarlac on March 30, 2023.
The activity was presided by Moncada Mayor Estelita “Lita” Aquino as the Tarlac League president for the fifth time together with the other municipal mayors from the province.
During the presentation, Ms. Irene B. Taborlupa, Ed. D., Supervising TESD Specialist discussed the direction of TESDA guided with the implementing guidelines for the devolution under the mandanas ruling. She reiterated the path of this law which will give opportunity to all municipalities in establishing their own training centers. We are always here to guide you and provide assistance for these purposes she said.
Meanwhile, Engr. Alvin Castro, Officer-in-charge of Provincial Training Center-Tarlac encourage all the mayors to visit the training center for them to have an initial assessment on how facilities will be constructed. He also presented the importance and advantages of having training center for job matching locally and abroad on account of National Assessment.
In addition to these, substantial Do’s and Don’ts were clearly discussed to give concrete directions not only to the future career of their constituents, but to the socio-economic development in their respective area.
