Successful Partnership with Tarlac State University
TESDA III Regional Director Toni June A. Tamayo forged a Memorandum of Partnership with the Tarlac State University represented by University President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, held at the College of Teacher Education Building, Lucinda Campus, Tarlac City, on February 21, 2024.
During the program, RD Tamayo said that these will continually contribute to the implementation of training programs primarily for the students and personnel of the college in the attainment of the TESDA goal to produce highly competitive, competent, and productive technicians, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs, which is very important nowadays.
Also, as one of the agency’s initiatives to grow technical vocational education and training capacity to meet the demand for more graduates and potential trainers to conduct community-based training. This is in line with the need to train those possible trainers who will expand TESDA’s programs.
Present were University President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza, Dean of the College of Education, Concurrent Officer-in-Charge, Leonardo R. Tabamo, TESDA Tarlac, and Dr. Consolacion A. Talisik, School Administrator of Concepcion Vocational School, Engr. Alvin T. Castro, Vocational Supervisor of PTC-Tarlac.
