OFW Bagong Pilipinas Caravan and Town Hall Meetings

TESDA III Assistant Regional Director, Atty. Eric O. Ueda, together with the TESDA Tarlac, joined the OFW Bagong Pilipinas Caravan Services held at the Diwa ng Tarlac, San Vicente, Tarlac City. The Department of Migrant Workers, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Tarlac, organized the event, and various government agencies and private sectors participated, aiming to offer diverse job opportunities to the people and bring each attendee’s services closer to them.

These two-day programs will continually contribute to the implementation of various programs primarily for the OFW, or balik manggagawa. In addition, TESDA participates in the attainment of the goal to offer different programs in training and competency assessment likewise to produce highly competitive, competent, and productive technicians, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs among the clients in the event.

Also, as one of the agency’s initiatives to grow technical vocational education and training capacity to meet the demand for more graduates needed not only here in the country but also in other countries.
