Dual Training System Week Celebration 2023!
TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office, led by Provincial Director Emely Q. Tesoro, held a face-to-face focus group discussion with International Wiring Systems Corporation Philippines and other TVET stakeholders to address issues and concerns about the DTS implementation on October 23, 2023, at the PTC-Tarlac TM room.
The purpose of the meeting was also to assess the current training plan and determine whether any changes should be made to better fulfill the Trainees’ competence requirements considering the performance criteria and the real workplace environment. It also tackled the monitoring system of every partner school among their students, to lessen the increase of drop-out-rates and withdrawal of the said students.
Meanwhile, Center Administrator Leonardo Tabamo opened the pending request to the International Wiring Systems Phils. Corp., relative to the possibility of using the TESDA-IWSP Building to be utilized for the training and Competency assessment under the DTS program.
As response by the IWSP Personnel, they agreed with the request and commit to provide assistance in the upcoming facilitation of the facility. In addition, they will provide computer sets and printers in the area to be used by the personnel who will be deployed in the area.
The forum was successfully done with continuous promising among the partners and stakeholders to take part in the improvement of the implementation of the Dual Training System.
